Prepare the first process for a patient

Summary steps to track a patient's test for the first time:

  1. Search for the patient in the top right search
  2. Select Patient under Create New to create a new patient record
  3. Complete the required fields and choose whether to send the patient an invitation to their portal by Email, SMS, or both
  4. Select Create Patient

The system sends the patient an invitation to set their portal password and it creates a test referral with the required forms.

Now the patient can create their portal account to fill out forms, and your team has a test referral ready for when the patient arrives.
